About The Honey Empire
The Honey Empire is an indie-rock band based out of Denver, Colorado. Their unique sound combines vocal harmonies and melodic guitar licks with a nod toward female-led ‘90s alternative music. Kimberly and Yvette first started playing together as part of VINE, a local cover band.
The Honey Empire’s self-titled debut album, which was released in March 2019 with Josh Skelton on bass. Nick Golder joined the band in 2020. Their single, So Long My Love, was released in April 2020. The band released two more singles in 2021, Jealous in March and Anyway in October. They are currently working on creating new music and playing more shows in 2025.
Members of the band include Kimberly Gionta (Lead Singer, Rhythm Guitar), Yvette Frampton (Lead Guitar, Background Vocals), Nick Golder (Bass Guitar), Ryan Skiles (Keyboard), and Blake Watts (Drums).
